About

I’m a graduate student in the most fascinating field of study ever — International Affairs. In a few months, I’ll graduate with a master’s degree in getting other people to pay for my adventures, with a dual emphasis in obscure international politics and verbose thesis statements. In my spare time, I’m an administrative assistant, a TA, and a horrible web designer.

I’m currently based out of Colorado, where I live with my husband. He’s a student too, having recently emerged from nearly 7 years of active duty military service. He is quite possibly the most patient man on earth, a great cook, and an extreme nerd. There’s an excessive amount of Star Wars paraphernalia in our house, which I tolerate because he puts up with my fifty thousand books. Fair is fair.

We have a dog, a mixed-up border collie mutt named Dexter. We adopted him from a shelter in rural Colorado. He’s about two years old and enjoys laps, tennis balls, and long runs in the park. We spoil him rotten.

Over the past few years, I’ve lived in a multitude of places, held countless jobs, and made some amazing friends along the way. This blog is my attempt at keeping in touch with them.
